Xiaomi may be preparing to launch the Mi TV 5 series in India, including the Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro, a new teaser has been suggested by the company. New posts on social media, as well as emails sent by Xiaomi to media outlets, tease an upcoming product launch titled ‘Ah Quantum Leap Ahead’. The term quantum is used on the Mi TV 5 Pro, which has an ultra-HD quantum dot LED (QLED) screen, and is available in three sizes – 55 inches, 65 inches and 75 inches.

Although the teaser does not reveal much, the term single operative seems to be the biggest indication that it is referring to the Mi TV 5 Pro. The teaser shows an animation of lifting an eclipse with bright sunlight, pointing to the high peak brightness and colors that quantum dot LED screens are usually able to achieve. Although no date has been mentioned for the launch, communications suggest the launch may occur before the end of 2020.
