At the end of 2018, Xiaomi’s president Lin Bin teased an upcoming smartphone with 48-Megapixel camera, and today company has revealed the launch of Redmi Note 7 with 48 Megapixel camera.

It looks similar to xiaomi’s smaller, low cost Mi Play which was announced few weeks ago, with a U-shape notch at the top of display. It comes with a back panel with colorful gradients, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual rear camera setup.
Redmi Note 7 has dual rear camera setup, which includes a 48 Megapixel image sensor and an f/1.8 lens, along with 5 Megapixels which used for depth information. According to Xiaomi, the camera can take photos with it’s 48 million tiny 0.8 micron pixel in good lighting, or combine neighboring pixels.
The Redmi Note 7 has a 6.3 inches, 19:5:8 aspect ratio, 1080p display, and powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC processor, and also comes with 13 Megapixel front facing selfie camera setup and packed with a 4,000mAh battery and USB Type C charging and a headphone jack.
The Redmi Note 7 starts at just 999 yuan (apx $150 / 10,000 inr) for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and 1,399 yuan (apx. $200 / 14,500 inr) for 6GB / 64GB storage variant.
