WhatsApp Web to Get Facebook Messenger Rooms Shortcut

WhatsApp has released version 2.2019.6 of its web app. The messaging service is reportedly bringing messenger room shortcuts to WhatsApp Web and “working on the feature in this update”. The shortcut of WhatsApp Web is said to be currently under development. Facebook launched Messenger Room last month where users can initiate video call sessions and more than 50 people can also connect without a Facebook account. A few days later, it was reported that WhatsApp is testing Facebook Messenger Room integration on its beta version Android app.

WABetaInfo said in a report, “WhatsApp 2.2019.6 is working to add messenger room shortcuts to web updates. Those shortcuts have not yet been rolled out for everyone, but we can show you how they are! “It states that the main shortcut will be available in the chat where options for attaching photos, documents and contacts are available. The shortcut will ask them to continue in Messenger. In addition, the report states that to create a video chat room An option will be available on the main menu below the new group button. The release date of the new feature is not yet known.

It has also been reported that Messenger Room integration is being tested on WhatsApp’s beta app for Android. More than 50 people can join the messenger room. WhatsApp Integration has reportedly been spotted, with Facebook stating that the feature will also be linked with Instagram and Facebook portals.
