Facebook-owned Whatsapp is said to be working on a new security feature of the app. According to WABetainfo, whatsapp has reported that company will soon bring fingerprint authentication feature for the Android.
In an Official post WABetaInfo said, ” After working to implement Face ID and Touch ID features on iOS(that aren’t available yet for development reasons), WhatsApp has finally started to work on the Authentication feature on Android, using your Fingerprint!”

According to reports, The user need to identify himself while opening WhatsApp, It will protect the entire app, so it’s not used to lock any specific conversation. WABetainfo suggest that this feature will first comes on whatsApp and after that available for iOS soon.
