Vivo U3 has been launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. The Chinese company has released a teaser image through its official Weibo account. The image also shows the rear of the Vivo U3 that could come as a new budget phone – after the Vivo U10 launched in India and introduced as Vivo U3x in China last month. Separately, a Vivo phone carrying model number V1914A / T has surfaced on TENAA with its key features. The handset appears to be similar to the Vivo U3. However, it could be a country-specific version of the U3 – considering the company’s historical record of launching similar hardware in multiple markets with different titles.
The teaser image of the Vivo U3, posted on Weibo, reveals the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. It gives a glimpse into the back of the smartphone which has a triple rear camera setup and a traditional fingerprint sensor. There is also a vertically placed vivo branding as well as a gradient finish.
Apart from this, the teaser image shows the lower area of the phone which seems to have a loudspeaker grill, micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Last month, Vivo launched the U10 as its latest budget phone with triple rear camera setup and 5,000mAh battery. The handset also reached the Chinese market in the form of the U3x and included the Snapdragon 665 SoC, a water-down version of the Snapdragon 675 SoC.
