Twitter has announced a new feature that will help users quickly dig through their tweets to update an old post. A feature called ‘Continue thread’ which makes it easy to connect in-progress tweets to an earlier post.
Here’s how to use the thread option released on Twitter
- Write your tweet and then drag down to see older tweets.
- Select the tweet you wish to add. Now your tweets are connected.
- You just have to drag down to see old tweets and tap on the “Continue thread” or ellipse button to find an old tweet to reply to.
- Essentially, this is a new way of creating topic threads and tweetstorms.
Micro-blogging platforms have in the past allowed users to link multiple tweets simultaneously when creating them, but the new feature makes it faster to connect a new tweet to an old post.
Twitter has also acquired California-based Croma Labs which develops equipment for short-form video and photo production.
This will help users fill in stylish layout templates and frames to post collages and more.
