Google says that it will be soon rolling out three new features for gmail users. These features will help users to correct their mistakes while composing a mail. In which two features are accessible through the shortcut buttons at the panel and the third feature allow user to download files in different file formats.
Here are the Explanation of all three new features:
1) Shortcut button to undo or redo in the compose window
By using this feature, it’s now easier to undo something right from the compose view. If you accidentally deleted the content of your draft than now no need to worried about it, you can undo it from the compose view, here is also comes up a shortcut button Redo after doing undo.
2) Shortcut to strike-through text
In addition to different style of text like Bold, Italic and underline, user will be able to strike-through text. This feature is available under the formatting section while composing any email.
3) Download message as .EML fiies in rfc822 format
.EML format is something that other email clients supports and let you view the Gmail message along with any attachments on those clients. In addition to this feature, user is now able to attach the .EML format files to mail.
Google said that, ” this will bring more focus to gmail. ” As we look to the future, we want to take a mre focused approach that will help us ring te best email experience to everyone. As a result, we’re planning to focus solely on Gmail and say goodbye to Inbox by Gmail at the end of March 2019.”
