Sony India on Monday refreshed its premium compact camera – RX series with the new RX100 VII in India for Rs 96,990. The flagship point-and-shoot camera uses technologies developed for Sony’s full-frame mirrorless camera Alpha 9, thus achieving both new levels of performance in compact cameras, both in stills and movie shooting.
Sony India, Head of Digital Imaging Division, Hiroyuki Tokuno stated, “The RX100 VII sets new standards for both photography and videography in a compact camera and we believe its unprecedented speed and ability of the Air Force will be greatly appreciated by customers. ” a statement.
“Users will feel confident that they have the power of the Alpha 9 in their pocket, in compact form, so they can rely on this camera in any situation,” Tokuno said.
The company has developed a new 1-inch stacked 20.1-megapixel CMOS sensor. It uses a 24–200 mm zoom lens with an aperture range of f / 2.8–4.5. As per the press note, the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 VII features an A9-level speed display. There is also real-time tracking and AF like the A9. It can shoot up to 60 AF / AE counts per second and with 20fps burst AF / AE tracking. It has a 180-degree flip screen. It has a 3.5 mm microphone jack, allowing you to use an external mic.
The Sony Cyber-shot RX100 VII camera is currently available at all Sony centers in India, Alpha flagship store, Sony authorized dealers and major electronic stores. It starts at Rs. 96,990.
