Sony’s Xperia 1 arrived in the US only last month, but next week, the company is already planning to announce a successor to the flagship smartphone, most notably on September 5 at 12 pm BST / 7 a.m. ET IFA 2019 during. This model is rumored to be called Xperia 2, and according to the Xperia blog (via 9to5Google), we can see it in a batch of leaked images for the first time.
It is easy to tell Xperia 1 from Sony’s old phone. It was the first device from the company to offer a 21: 9 aspect ratio display with the cheapest Sony Xperia 10. This resulted in a long, thin display that is an ideal place to watch films.
In the leaked renders, the device shown above appears to have been cut with the same cloth, although its rear camera system has moved upwards from the left side of the back of the phone. Everything, including the location of the leaked speaker and the classification and ordering of the buttons and fingerprint sensors on the right edge of the phone, is exactly the same.
