The South Korean Giant Samsung has unveiled a new 64MP camera sensor that has higher resolution if compare to other available camera sensors in market. The ISOCELL Bright GQ1 camera sensor users 0.8 micron pixel similar to it’s 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 camera sensor.
This new ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor will be bigger in size and will be able to capture more light, also it’s expected to enter in market in second half of the year.
The new 64 MP ISOCELL camera sensor has support for real-time HDR of up to 100 decibels, it produce a 16MP output in low light conditions by merging 4 pixels into one using it’s Tetracell technology.
According to the company, the dynamic range of a conventional sensor is around 60 decibels while that of the human eye is considered to be around 120 decibels.
