Samsung Galaxy Z Flip gets first software update

Samsung recently pushed the latest February 2020 security patch for Galaxy Fold devices last week. Now, the company is offering the same update for the new Galaxy Z flip foldable smartphone. Based on the new Galaxy Z Flip update area, the software build version extends to F700FXXU1ATB6 / F700U1UEU1ATAK.

The size of the firmware is about 5.38 GB. The update is based on the latest Android 10 OS and is running for users located in the US and Italy countries. Updates should be available soon in other regions. The OTA update is running incrementally. Therefore, it may take some time to gradually reach all Samsung Galaxy Z flip units. Users will get a push notification to download the update.

Alternatively, update availability can also be checked by downloading and installing About-> System Update Samsung has not released the changelog for the update, but it does improve overall system stability. The February 2020 update primarily fixes a number of high and moderate critical security vulnerabilities.
