Samsung Galaxy S11 is scheduled to launch in Q1 2020. Nevertheless, the rumor mill is elaborating on the new flagship. The Samsung Galaxy S11 5G variant is said to have got certification in China that offers 25W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Galaxy S11 + 45W may come with fast charging support. Separately, the Galaxy S11 features a 5x zoom camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Some renders of the Samsung Galaxy S11 have also surfaced online, based on early rumors.
At MWC Shanghai, Samsung showcased its 45W fast charging technology. It debuted on the Galaxy Note 10+, but the company ended the 25W Fast Charger.
According to a Sammobile report, a spotteed certificate in China suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S11 5G with model number SM-G9860 will have 25W fast charging, instead of using 45W fast charging. The Galaxy S11e will also come with 25W fast charging support. However, on top of the Galaxy S11 +, there may be 45W charging support to sit alongside the Galaxy Note 10+.
The Samsung Electro-Mechanics tip on the Samsung Galaxy S11 brought some planned sours from a patent application filed by OIS Support. The handset is also rumored to be included in 5x optical zoom. In addition, the schematic shows a periscope-like camera architecture that includes a longer-than-normal telephoto lens.
The patent application, seen by SamMobile, was filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) earlier this week. In September, a report suggested that the Galaxy S11 would come with a 108-megapixel primary camera. The September report also included some bits around OIS support and Periscope architecture.
Additionally, the leak-based CAD render of the Samsung Galaxy S11 has been released by OnLeaks and 91Mobiles. These rumor-based representations suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S11 will retain the same hole-orifice performance design as the Galaxy Note 109965,499 series. Also, the flagship phone has a bezel slimmer than what we’ve seen on the Galaxy S10 model.
The right side of the Galaxy S11 is shown in renders with a volume rocker and power button, while its left side is completely bare. At the bottom, the phone has a USB Type-C port – a loudspeaker with a grille and a microphone.
Samsung is about to offer an L-shaped camera setup that can include three regular sensors and a 3D TOF sensor. Samsung Galaxy S11 renders suggest that the camera setup will be with LED flash and laser autofocus module. In addition, renders show a glass back panel with a Samsung branding on top.
