Samsung Galaxy A50s have started receiving their Android 10 update with One UI 2 in India. The latest update calls for the February 2020 Android security patch to be included. The new update is likely to bring a list of interface-level changes, thanks to the arrival of the latest One UI version. Galaxy A50s users in Vietnam originally received the Android 10 update. Samsung launched the Galaxy A50 in India in September last year. The phone debuted with an early version of One UI topped with Android 9 Pie.
The latest software update version A507FNXXU3BTB2 for the Samsung Galaxy A50s, reports SamMobile. The software version is remarkably the same as that which arrived in Vietnam earlier this month. The screenshot shared in the online report shows that the update also includes the February 2020 Android security patch and is about 1.6GB in size.
With the presence of Android 10 update, the Galaxy A50 has received an improved dark mode. The update also refines a UI with smooth animation effects and improves one-handed usability. In addition, the update improves gesture input.
Users can check the availability of Android 10 update on their Samsung Galaxy A50 by going to Settings> Software Update> Download and Install.
According to the roadmap published on the Samsung Members app in November, the Galaxy A50 was planned to receive the Android 10 update sometime in April. This shows that the South Korean company has come up with the new software version ahead of the original schedule.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 was launched with Android 9 Pie last year. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD + (1080×2340 pixels) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC with 4GB of RAM. There is also 64 GB of onboard storage. Apart from this, the phone comes with a 48-megapixel primary shooter, 32-megapixel selfie camera and triple rear camera setup with a 4,000mAh battery.
