Xiaomi has recently relaunched the smartphone in the country, and has now announced the first sale date for the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Recently, it has also revised the price of the phone due to increase in the GST rate from 12 percent to 18 percent.

On Mi.com and Amazon.in, Xiaomi has confirmed that the first sale of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will be on May 12. The sale will start at 12 noon (noon) IST, and run till the last stock
The price of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India was revised last month at Rs. 16GB for the 6GB + 64GB storage variant (Rs 1,500 increase), while its 6GB + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 17,999 and 8GB + 128GB storage option priced at Rs. 19,999

As per the specifications, the Dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 9 Pro Max runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10, and has a 6.67-inch full-HD + (1080×2400 pixels) IPS display with a ratio of 20: 9. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has 64 GB and 128 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage options which are both expandable via microSD card (up to 512 GB) via a dedicated slot.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max’s quad camera setup features a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is also support for RAW photography. Apart from this, the phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max packs a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging (charger supported in the box). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, Infrared (IR), NavIC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
