Recently Xiaomi has launched their new smartphone Redmi Note 7, Redmi 7 Pro and Redmi Go in India.
Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 with 12MP primary camera in India, which comes with 48 MP camera in China, and the Redmi Note 7 pro comes with an excellent hardware configuration. The Redmi Go was also launched few days ago, which is Xiaomi’s first Android Go smartphone and comes with an affordable price range of 4,999 Indian Rupees.
Redmi Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Soc and comes with two different storage variant, a 3GB RAM / 32GB storage and another 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage variant. Xiaomi Redmi GO is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Soc and paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi has now released Kernal source for both Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Go, code named Lavender and tiare respectively. Which was first spotted on XDA Developers. With these kernal sources, these devices developers can get to work like porting TWRP custom recovery for these devices.
With the custom recovery, users can be able to flash different ROMs on their devices. Since developers are currently building a custom TWRP recovery for the Redmi Note 7, but the Xiaomi hasn’t released the kernal source of Redmi note 7 pro yet.
