Xiaomi has finally released an official teaser poster of the upcoming Redmi K30 which shows the design of the phone from the back. The Chinese company has gone for major design changes from the Redmi K20 to the Redmi K30, and is clearly evident by the comparatively minimalist finish on the rear panel, a contrast from the attractive flame shield seen by its predecessor. The official Redmi K30 poster shows quad rear cameras in a vertical layout, while the camera module is surrounded by a circular ring, which has a different surface finish than the rest of the panel. Separately, it has been confirmed that the Redmi K30 will be powered by a Qualcomm SoC.
The official Redmi Weibo account shared the aforementioned Redmi K30 poster, where the phone is shown with a light purple shade and appears to have a matte finish. The vertical quad rear camera module is surrounded by a ring that has a glossy finish and resembles a subtle thick texture with some branding along the perimeter. But this is not a completely new design, as we have seen earlier on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which sees a similar spherical ring pattern in different colors around its camera module.
The dual-LED flash module sits below the camera and also has a prominent 5G branding below it. To recall, Xiaomi has already confirmed that Redmi K30 will support dual-mode 5G (SA + NSA). In the comments section of another post of the Redmi Weibo account, someone has shared a different official poster of the Redmi K30, showing the brand ambassador holding a different version of the phone, showing a pink-purple paintjob, Which has a sub-purple finish at the back.
In addition, the Redmi brand’s general manager, Lu Weibing, has revealed via a Weibo post that the Redmi K30 will be powered by Qualcomm’s SoC.
