Chinese smartphone brand Realme may soon become an independent brand according to company officials. Realme has launched a string of smartphones in the budget and mid-range smartphone segment since its inception and has become one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in the world. Previously it was a sub-brand of Oppo but in May 2018, it closed on its own, although it continued to share the resources of the parent company. A few days ago, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India shared an image on Twitter, outlining the timeline of all Realme phones to receive Android 10 updates in the coming year. Realme X2 Pro will get it in March while Realme 3 and 3i will get Android 10 update in April. The new custom UI will come with Realme 5 and 5s in May and Realme 2 Pro in June. Realme C2 will be available in Q3 2020.
