Realme announced on Thursday that the company will extend the warranty period on all products to 31 May. The extension of the warranty is applicable to products including Realme smartphones, wearables and more, whose warranties expire between March 20 and April 20 of this year.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth also shared the news on his Twitter on Thursday, where he said the move was taken “during this difficult period” for Realme users. Through Twitter, Sheth has repeatedly urged citizens to stay indoors.
On Thursday, several other companies also announced an extension of the warranty period in the bid to ensure uninterrupted service for their users. For example, Chinese tech giant Huawei and its sub-brand, Honor, also announced an extension of the warranty period on all their products.
