Realme 7 Pro has started receiving over-the-air (OTA) updates in October 2020. It brings the October 2020 Android security patch to the phone with optimization for the camera and fixes issues related to charging and fingerprint unlocking. The update will feature a staged rollout, meaning that only a limited number of Realme 7 Pro users will receive it initially. After assuring Realme that there are no significant bugs in the update, it will have a wider rollout.
Realme announced the update for Realme 7 Pro on its official platform. The firmware version for the update is RMX2170PU_11_A.17. If no information has been received yet, users can check for updates in their phone’s settings. It should be noted that the full rollout will take a few days.
According to the changelog, the Realme 7 Pro update will optimize the front camera’s overexposure, the rear camera’s color shifts, and the dynamic range of the rear camera in 64M mode.
The update will also optimize the minimum brightness while playing the video. This fixes the issue of screen dimming after fingerprint unlock in external scenarios. The issue of Realme 7 Pro has been fixed with some scenarios being unable to charge fast.
