Realme 6 Pro is getting a software update from Realme which brings bug fixes with the August 2020 Android Security patch on the phone. Realme is rolling out the update via OTA, but it is currently being phased out and has been rolled out at this point for very limited users.
Realme posted on its community forum that Realme 6 Pro is getting a new software update with RMX2061_11.A.31 as the UIX version number. This update is running via OTA and Realme 6 Pro when users will be notified when an update is available for their smartphone. Realme has posted a fairly detailed log for bug fixes that brings this software update. It is also mentioned that the August security patch is also bundled in the update.
The new software update adds a Super Nighttime standby and smooth scrolling feature to the settings. It also added super power saving mode, deep cleanup feature in Process Manager, icon pull-down gestures in the launcher, and the ability to copy the device’s IMEI from the software information interface.
There are some extras and bug fixes for the status bar. This new update brings the OTG switch toggle to the notification panel and toggles the switch for focus mode. Bug fixes include customization to the Bell Mute-Bell-Vibrate ‘icon, the flight mode toggle will no longer affect Bluetooth status, and a Russian translation issue of the carrier in the status bar has been fixed. A Russian translation issue has also been fixed for the calculator.
The update also fixes a font display issue on the lockscreen during charging and the camera app also gets a fix for the lag issue during video recording. If you own a Realme 6 Pro, you will get a notification about this update when it is available for you to download.
