Chipset manufacturer Qualcomm has confirmed that it is going to host the annual Snapdragon Tech Summit from December 3 to 5. The company will launch the next flagship Snapdragon chipset- Snapdragon 865– the most powerful mobile chipset.
The name Snapdragon 865 was revealed by the Chinese luxury smartphone and watchmaker 8848. The handset has been named Titanium M6 5G. As the name suggests, the handset will offer 5G connectivity. Officially, 8848 is the first company to announce that it is making a smartphone with an upcoming processor, but does not ensure that it will be the first processor that will hit this processor in the market as no word on the launch date Is not. For those unaware, Samsung has always been the first company to provide a global version of the flagship Qualcomm processor every year.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor is expected to launch both LTE and 5G variants. It has been mentioned that some partners will also showcase the latest Snapdragon processor running on their prototype smartphones. Some of the mentioned partners are Samsung, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi.
In terms of specs, the Titanium M6 5G is confirmed to come with a 6.01-inch AMOLED screen. On the storage front, it will boast 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. The primary camera on the handset is going to be a 64MP sensor that will be able to click images in 100MP resolution.
