PUBG Mobile could soon get 90/120 frame rate feature

PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular games on Android and iOS and to keep users interested, Tencent Games continues the new features. Now, the company is working on a new feature, which will benefit users of smartphones with higher refresh rates. With the new feature, users will be able to increase the game’s frame rate to 90 fps and 120 fps.

The Chinese beta version of the feature game is already live, called Game of Peace. This feature will help owners of devices like OnePlus 7 Pro, Nubia Red Magic 3 and Asus ROG phones to give a better gaming experience.

The Chinese beta version of the game now also features 90Hz and 120Hz options, in addition to low, medium, high, ultra and extreme performance settings. These modes will only appear on devices that support high refresh rate displays.

It is not known when the company will introduce this feature in the global version of PUBG Mobile.

In related news, Tencent Games is expected to release the PUBG Mobile 0.14.5 update on 12 September. The update is expected to bring new Wikipedia-centric items. According to Mr. Ghost Gaming, the new update will bring a lot of features that are already present on the PC version of the game.

The update will bring a new weapon called the MP5K, new vehicles such as the Zima and a snowbike. It will also add a Canted Sight, a special vision accessory that can be used with a secondary scope. Finally, it may also introduce a new Survival Mode, where players are required to hunt and build fire to avoid death in Vikendi.
