Oppo has become the latest Chinese smartphone maker to foray into the 5G space. After the launch of 4G version of OPPO Reno and Oppo Reno 10X zoom in china, Europe and India, the company has now unveiled the 5G variant of the smartphone.
Unfortunately, the 5G variant of the smartphone will not make it to India anytime soon because the country doesn’t have the necessary 5G infrastructure yet.
Specifications of Oppo Reno 5G
The new 5G variant of Oppo Reno, will sports the same hardware as the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. The smartphone comes with a 6.65 inch HD+ AMOLED display with 2340×1080 px resolution. It’s also has a popup camera, that is claimed to deliver a 93.1% Screen to body ratio. It has a Gorilla Glass 6 protection, and sports a sixth Gen in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and 5G modem. It offers upto 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, that can be expanded using microSD card. The smartphone packs a 4,065mAh battery and support VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
If we talk about camera specs of the smartphone that it has triple rear camera setup includes 48MP sony IMX586 sensor with f1.7 aperture and OIS, an 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a periscope telescopic lens complemented with a 13Mp sensor. At the front side it has a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture to click selfies.
The smartphone comes with the technology includes a combination of Thermal Gel, a Graphite Sheet, Copper Pipe Liquid Cooling, and Tri-cooling control to manage the temperature of the smartphone. Also the smartphone runs over Android 9 Pie based ColorOS 6 and has an AI-powered Breeno Virtual Assistant.
