The OnePlus 8 Pro has been in the rumor mills for some time, and is expected to launch in the first half this year. Now, the flagship smartphone has reached the benchmark website Geekbench. The benchmark listing suggests that the OnePlus phone will come with 12GB of RAM and will run Android 10 out-of-the-box. In addition, the OnePlus 8 Pro has the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. While the Geekbench listing does not contain much details, earlier leaks include some specifications including a 120Hz display. Also, if we look at the recent rumors, the OnePlus 8 series will include the OnePlus 8 as well as the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite.
The listing on Geekbench shows the model name GALILEI IN2023. This is in contrast to the OnePlus 8 Pro 5G variant which is clearly revealed on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website with model number IN2010. Still, a tipster on Weibo suggests that the handset spotted on the Geekbench site is none other than the OnePlus 8 Pro variant.
OnePlus 8 Pro specification (rumor)
If we believe that the tipster and specifications are featured on the Geekbench website, the OnePlus 8 Pro will run Android 10 and will include 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone is also seen with a chipset named codeine “Kona” which may be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 CC. In addition, the benchmark listing shows that the phone received a single-core score of 4,296 and a multi-core score of 12,531. The listing also shows 10 January as the upload date.
