Microsoft Outlook for iPad Now Lets You Attach Files From Other Apps Using Drag and Drop

Microsoft Outlook received an update to iOS to bring support for dragging and dropping between apps on the iPad using split view. The update takes the app to version 4.60.0. Users can attach files and pictures by dragging and dropping them from OneDrive, files, photos, Safari and Outlook email attachments using split view on the iPad. In addition, it is also possible to drag and drop contacts to the recipient list with updates from search.

Also by Microsoft it will be easier to multitask on the Outlook app for iPadOS. The update has started and the new feature gets a mention in the same changelog on the App Store. This feature was introduced in the iPad version of iOS a few years ago.

Microsoft released version 2.42 in its release note a few weeks ago about the drag and drop feature. Giving an example, a tech giant said that users would be able to open their photo app just like Outlook and then drag and drop images as well as email attachments along with a selection of images.
