Lenovo introduced it’s new gaming laptop Legion Y740 and Y540 at CES 2019.
The Y740 comes in 17-inches and 15-inches flavors and runs on 8th generation Intel processor, Both Core i5-8300H or Core i7-8750H. Lenovo is promising GeForce GPUs on both sizes of the Y740 model laptop but they didn’t qualified that exactly which graphics solutions they will be used. They will be Turing, that those are the latest GPUs in Nvidia’s range.
These will be equipped with minimum of 8GB RAM, can be expanded upto 32GB, with the storage being delivered in the form of a 512GB PCIe SSD, along with SATA SOLID state drive and a 2TB hard disk. It has a better cooling system, an improved aluminum display hinges to give more stability to screen. The Legion Y740 both variant 15 inches and 17 inches will be out in February, and starting price at $1,749.9 and $1,979.9.
As the Legion Y540, the more affordable laptop model, and the same enhancements as the Legion Y740, having the battery life up to 6 hours. It is designed with aluminum display hinges and Dolby Vision HDR display with brightness of 500 nits with a 144Hz refresh rate and G-Sync. The Legion Y540 will be priced at $929.99.
