Intel and Amd announced their 10 nano-meter and 7 nano-meter processors at CES 2019, With this they also introduced hybrid processor.
Intel introduced, Intel LakeField processor, having architecture similar to an ARM CPU. It has a block of 10nm CPU cores and will feature on central 10nm Sunny cove core paired with four Treemont Atom cores.

Other-side, AMD introduced its own hybrid processor with a Ryzen 3rd Generation chip that pairs an eight core 7nm chiplet with a second 14nm chiplet o manage memory controllers and PCIe lanes.
The common thing both company shares, they are moving from the traditional monolithic processor.
