HOW TO TURN OFF WEB NOTIFICATIONS IN WINDOWS, MACOS AND ANDROID
Your device’s web browsers allow so many websites to push notifications but sometimes you just don’t want them. It could be useful to read news stories and updates but sometime it look annoying. Here is the guide to disable push notification in your device.
1: Web notifications in Google Chrome
Here all is similar process for windows pc, Mac and android phone users, First step is open Google chrome, In the right top corner there are three vertical dots, and this will open up the main menu on chrome and you have to select setting. Then chose Advanced option.
You will see Privacy option, and in sub section find out Content setting, and now you can turn off the web notification from here.
2: Notification in Firefox
If you are Firefox users, easy way to unsubscribe the notification is to enter “about:preferences#privacy” at the URL bx.
This will take you to the preferences in Firefox in PC or Mac.
Now find out the option that says ‘Notifications’ and hit the settings button.
Here you will find out all the websites currently sending you push notifications. But if you are Phone users, you will have to head to specific website that you want to stop notifications for. See a padlock at the left top corner and press on Edit Site Setting. Now it says Notifications with a checkbox, Hit the clear button to unsubscribe.
3: Notification in Microsoft Edge
By pressing three dot at the top right corner, you will get the main menu. Now go to the Settings and View Advanced Settings. There will be an option ‘Notification and sub option ‘Website permission’. Here you can disable the notification.
4: Notification in Safari web browser
Go to the preference option, search for ‘websites’ along the top of the screen. Press on this, and in the list to the left you’ll find an option ‘Notifications’. All subscribed website will shown to you, now you can choose allow or deny in the drop-down.
