In case, you’re not a big fan of cloud storage or have privacy concerns and want to transfer photos and videos from your Apple iPhone or iPad to Mac or PC, here’s our step-by-step guide for you.

Steps to Follow: For Mac
Step 1: Connect iPhone or iPod using Mac using USB cable
Step 2: Unlock the iOS device and tap on the ‘iOS Trust’ option at the prompt
Step 3: After this, the Photo app on Mac will open automatically
Step 4: Photos app will show all photos with option to import from connected device
Step 5: Select photos and tap on the Import option to start the process or select the option Import all new photos
Steps to follow: For PC
Like Macs, Windows users can also import photos and videos using the Windows 10 Photos app. To do this, first, download and install the latest version of iTunes on a PC.
Step 1: Connect the phone using a usb cable
Step 2: Open photos app
Step 3: Unlock the iOS device and tap on the trust option at the prompt
Step 4: Tap the Import option from the top right corner.
Step 5: Choose Tools and choose to move the photo.
If you are using an older version of Windows, go to Windows Explorer and look for a connected iPhone. Double-click on it and see the photos you want to move. Select them and copy and paste them to another folder on the PC. This method also works with the Windows 10 operating system.
