Honor is set to launch the Honor 30S in China on 30 March. We have seen a lot of rumors about this device before but the company has recently confirmed the launch date via a post on Weibo. A recent leak has surfaced suggesting that the upcoming Honor 30S features a 64-megapixel main camera and telephoto shooter with 3X optical zoom support.
The latest leak was reported by Digital Trends citing a reliable source. The latest leaks indicate that the camera setup in the Honor 30S will be a 64-megapixel primary sensor and telephoto camera capable of 3X optical zoom. The camera setup will also support AI features but details are not yet known.
Previous leaks also stated that the smartphone will sport a quad camera setup in a rectangular module. Some other leaks in the past have tipped that the smartphone will be powered by the Kirin 820 SoC. The phone has also been told that this upcoming smartphone will get 5G support.
The smartphone is also expected to support 40W fast charging with 10V and 4A power configurations. It can also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an LCD display instead of an AMOLED panel.
