Google Assistant Gets ‘Your News Update’ Feature

Google Assistant Gets 'Your News Update' Feature

Google said that on Tuesday its digital assistant will serve as a “news host” on its connected devices to tell stories from a variety of media partners.

Asking Google News to read the news will activate a feature called Your News Update.

The Artificial Intelligence Program will provide a mix of short news stories chosen at that moment based on the top stories, along with the interests, location, user history and preferences posted in your blog.
