Flipkart Now Supports Kannada, Tamil, Telugu Languages

Flipkart enabled its shopping experience in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. The new language integration, initially limited to Flipkart’s mobile app, comes nine months after the Walmart-owned company began supporting Hindi on its platform. To enable the new experience, Flipkart claims that it has translated over 54 lakh words into product specifications in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu as well as elements such as banners and payment pages. The translation eventually resulted in a new experience that was targeted towards smaller towns and cities in the country.
