The central government is once again offering the FasTag Free till February 29. To promote electronic toll collection, the ‘Ministry of Road Transport and Highways’ has announced that the Rs 100 exemption of fastg has been waived for the next 15 days. From 15 February to 29 February NHAI FasTag will be available for free to all consumers who are not yet in possession of their vehicle.
The ministry said that vehicle owners can travel with valid Registration Certificate (RC) for sale at National Highway toll plazas, regional transport offices, general service centers, transport centers, petrol pumps and all other authorized physical points. FASTag free until 29 February.
