DJI has launched the Mavic Mini, the lightest and smallest foldable drone to date. The Mavic Mini weighs 249 grams, making it portable and easy to fly. Since it falls in the sub-250 gram category, the drone does not need to be registered. As per India’s drone policy, RPA weighing less than 250 grams is exempt from registration, import license as well as NPN compliance. You will be able to fly the Mavic Mini up to 50 feet and in the attached premises in India without any registration.

The Mavic Mini is the fifth drone to debut as part of the Mavic series. It is based on technological innovations in the DJIS series of Mavic drone folding. The smallest foldable drone from DJI has a maximum climb speed of 4m / s in S mode. In P mode, speed is 2m / s and in C mode, speed is 1.5m / s. The maximum speed is 3D / S in S mode, 1.8 M / s in P mode and 1 M / s in C mode. The maximum speed of the drone is 13m / s in S mode, 8m / s in P mode and 4m / s in C mode. The speed with the support of the wind is measured near sea level.
