BSNL Rs. 1,999 Bharat Fiber Broadband Plan Launched

State-owned Telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new Rs. 1,999 broadband plans in India. This Bharat Fiber Broadband combo plan is live in some circles for now, and offers 200Mbps speed. The scheme has so far been introduced in Telangana and Chennai circles on a promotional basis, and will be valid for 90 days only. This new scheme offers a FUP data limit of 1500GB i.e. 1.5TB, and is part of the India Fiber portfolio. After the FUP limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.

As mentioned, the new BSNL 1500GB CS55 broadband plan has been launched only in Chennai and Telangana circles. Benefits include unlimited voice calling on any network within India, 1.5TB data gain at speeds of 200Mbps. After the FUP limit is achieved, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps. However, there is no limit to uploading and downloading at 2Mbps. The minimum fare period for a broadband plan is for one month, and the subscriber will have to pay a one-month charge as well as a security deposit. The broadband plan is live on the BSNL website, and interested users can subscribe to it by April 6, 2020. The plan is not available for long term, meaning that users will have to look for other options after the promotional offer expires. . It was first seen by BSNL Teleservices.

While all BSNL Bharat Fiber Plans offer Rs. 999, there is no clarity on whether the scheme has the same benefits. This latest broadband plan is JioFiber’s Rs. 2,499 broadband plan that offers speeds of 500Mbps, but a low FUP of 1.25TB. However, Telco is offering 250GB of data free for the first six months as part of its launch offer. In addition, Jio Fiber also provides additional OTT subscriptions.
