As everyone hasn’t good broadband connectivity in the world, here Amazon is looking to provide broadband internet to the world with the help of satellites. Amazon is working in a project named Project Kuiper, Last September a report came that Amazon is planning big, audacious space project, involving satellites.

If we talk about the project, it will definitely takes a long time to implement, and provide good internet connection from outer space to users. Only Amazon is not in the race, also SpaceX and other companies are working on similar projects, that will solve the connectivity issues.
Amazon’s filings made with the international Telecommunications Union reveal that the company plans to “put 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit including 784 satellites at an altitude of 367 miles; 12396 satellites at a height of 379 miles; and 1156 satellites in 391 mile orbits”.

Amazon also confirmed to GeekWire that they are working in Projet Kuiper, Amazon said, ” Project Kuiper is a new initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites that will prove low-latency, high speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. This is a long term project that will serve the good internet connectivity to millions of people. We look forward to partnering on this initiative with companies that share this common vision”.
