According to information, the verge found Amazon job listings online for : two engineers to work on “cloud games,” a “Lead Cross platform Game Engineer,” and an AI engineer who can work on “a never before seen kind of game” along side cloud expert.
The Amazon’s product Fire TV is basically a gaming platform, and now Amazon might be working on game streaming platform. This project involves using powerful computer housed in data centers to run the games over the internet. Users can remotely login from their devices.
This means that gamers don’t need to buy disc or download video games. The cloud gaming service could launch as early as 2020, with Amazon already posting several job listings for engineers to work on it. Here other companies are also working on video games streaming services include Google’s Project stream and Electronics Arts; Project Atlas.
